Military Collegiate School Khulna (MCSK) is a residential school for boys (VII-XII) and girls (VIl-XIl) offering a sprawling campus spread across 105 acres of lush green land, situated in close proximity to the city, with connectivity via road and rail communications. It is approximately 6.5 km northwest of Jahanabad Cantonment, Khulna and about 4.5 km southwest of Phultala Upazilla. The Boys' and Girls' Wing are completely separate and self-contained. This is an English version collegiate school and follows the curriculum of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Jashore. 

Since its establishment, this institution is managed by the Bangladesh Army and supervised by the Area Commander, Jashore Area.It was established in 2001 with the sole conviction of nation-building in the quiet and pleasant environment of nature free from noise in the continuation of the commendable success in the overall education system of Bangladesh. But it was accredited in the year 2002. MCSK is located at Bill Dakatia (as history is concerned, robbers used to rob people and their belongings in the river flowing through the Bill Dakatia. This is why this area is called Dakatpara and this bill is called Bill Dakatia.) This low-lying marshy land was a heavy weapon range of Bangladesh Army till 1993. Afterwards, in the year 2002, Military Collegiate School Phultola (MCSP), a national curriculum based English version school was established. Initially. it started its journey under the able leadership of the founding Principal the then Lieutenant Colonel Jamil Ahmed Khan, psc with 54 cadets and some abandoned establishments of firing range. Subsequently, it was renamed as Military Collegiate School Khulna (MCSK) on 31st July 2009 considering its broader aspect. Again, to facilitate female education in a sound and, secured environment, Girls' Wing (a separate entity) started its journey.
